NBA Top Shot

NBA Top Shot is a digital platform where fans buy, sell, and trade officially licensed NBA video highlights called "Moments." These highlights act like digital trading cards backed by blockchain technology.  At its peak in early 2021, Top Shot became the face of the NFT boom. In February 2021 alone, the platform generated over $224 million in sales volume.

Sanctus partnered with Dapper Labs to design the audio experience for "opening" these digital packs. They wanted to capture the specific thrill a collector feels right before they see what they’ve won.​
